L'histoire de Tullibardine remonte à 1488 en tant que
brasserie de bière.
En 1947 la brasserie devient une distillerie active de
whisky, en 1995 la distillerie a arrêté l’activité
Après 8 ans de fermeture, la distillerie Highland a
rouvert ses portes en 2003.
Ce whisky âgé de 15 ans a été distillé à l'époque de la
réouverture de la distillerie.
Ce whisky est maturé dans des fûts de bourbon de premier
remplissage, il y a donc beaucoup d'influence crémeuse et miellée dans ce whisky.
NOTE DE DÉGUSTATION
Nez: arômes de foin frais, de pommes au four, de clous de
girofle et de glace à la vanille.
Bouche: notes de pâtisserie fraîche avec de la confiture
de fraise et des épices fines.
Arrière-goût, il a des notes de sucre de malt et de noix.

De geschiedenis van Tullibardine gaat terug tot 1488 als
bierbrouwerij. In 1947 wordt de brouwerij een active distilleerderij
voor whisky, in 1995 wordt de distilleerderij gesloten. Na een sluiting van 8 jaar wordt de
Highland-distilleerderij in 2003 heropend. Deze 15 jaar oude whisky is dan ook gedistilleerd in de
periode van de heropening van de distilleerderij. Deze whisky is grijpt op first-fill bourbon casks,
waardoor er veel romige, honingzoete invloed in deze whisky te vinden is. PROEFNOTITIE Neus: aroma’s van vers hooi, gebakken appels, kruidnagel
en vanille roomijs. Smaak: tonen van vers gebakken gebak met aardbeienjam, en
fijne specerijen. Afdronk heeft hij tonen van moutsuiker en noten.
